Magnet Board

Do you guys remember the wood rooster and chicken I made last week? Here they are in case you don't....
I think that they are super cute. Well, tonight I took some of the extra paper I had and I made a magnet board to match. I had a sheet of 12x12 sheet metal that I used for the base of the board.
Isn't this stinking cute too!!! I love it!
I have seen these memo boards all over blog-land and for the life of me I cannot find the one that inspired me! Sometimes, I print the picture for inspiration and then I forget where I got it from! Anyone else ever do that?
The one I saw had a black telephone, but I love the red on the polka dot paper.
This board woud be great next to any phone. I am going to figure out a way to get a pen on here too.
Look how cute this looks as a set! Hmmm, this might make a great bridal shower gift. Problem is, I don't know anyone getting married!

Have a great Tuesday!

  2. That is great! What did you use to glue the paper to the board?

  3. This is absolutely darling! I love the papers. You could use some ribbon to tie a pen to the board.

  4. Hi there oh talented one! Love your projects (we met at the urban escapes scrappy weekend) I saw a great idea for your pen on the magnet board...you can paint or cover the rack that holds the tiles to an old scrabble game and glue it on at the bottom! I have bought a few of those at thrift stores and garage sales for the tiles, but wasn't sure what to use the holders for...would work perfect!
