Every January, every crafter/decorator enthusiast starts to think about the next holiday that we get to decorate our homes for. I know I am not alone...there are a few of you out there that are all ready for Valentines Day, am I right? Well, I am not quite ready, but I am working on it!
The next Crafty Girls crop is this Saturday and I wanted to have a few Valentine's kits available. I came up with a LOVE block set that turned out so cute!
After thinking of several ideas, I remembered the "JOY" blocks I made a couple of months ago and found my inspiration for the LOVE blocks.
After thinking of several ideas, I remembered the "JOY" blocks I made a couple of months ago and found my inspiration for the LOVE blocks.
I loved the "chunkiness" of these blocks. They stand 10 inches tall and are 5 inches wide. So, I decided to make these same blocks, but spelling out the word LOVE.
I love the big black button on the L!
I love the idea of using other objects to act as a letter, and I think that this little berry heart wreath does the job great for O.
I love weathered and shabby flowers, so I thought that I would add one the E.
This block set is pretty substantial in size since there are 4 letters, and would look great for the Valentine holiday!
