Happy Birthday!

My husband and I both come from large families where all siblings are married and having children. Every year I have grand intentions of remembering every body's birthday - it never happens. So, I thought of something cute to have out to help me remember birthdays. I can't promise it will work, so all those nieces and nephew's - don't run to your mailbox just yet for a birthday card!

Once again, I used chunky wood to make this craft. I painted the wood yellow and then used fun papers for my background. I put 4 picture holders in the block, so if I have a picture of the birthday person or persons, I could add it to the holders.

I used the Cricut cartridge Sweet Treats to cut this cake out. I then used Stickles on the red curly frosting lines and the candle.

The word HAPPY was made with the Alphalicious font and BIRTHDAY was on the Sweet Treats cartridge.

The last block holds the monthly cards. There is a space for each day of the month, so you just write the person's name on the line. Because the year is not printed on this card, it can be used every year. There is a card for each month that attaches to the wood.
